The Queensland Association of Combined Sector Leaders (QACSL) is the professional association representing school leaders in Queensland’s unique combined sector state schools – schools that span across primary and secondary education, often incorporating Kindergarten through to Year 12. Our members lead some of the most diverse educational settings in the state, from large urban colleges to small rural and remote K–10 campuses.
QACSL exists to support, connect and advocate for Principals, Deputy Principals, Heads of Department, and other leadership staff across more than 90 combined sector schools throughout Queensland. These schools serve a wide variety of communities – from remote Indigenous townships to multicultural urban suburbs – and often operate with high complexity and broad responsibility due to their all-through nature.
We are proudly inclusive of all school sizes, settings and contexts, and are built on a strong foundation of collegiality, collaboration and shared expertise.
